Visiting ringers - 22nd July 2017

Members of the Welsh Colleges Society of Ringers attempted to ring quarter peals at all four town centre churches on Saturday 22nd July 2017 but were only partially successful. The attempts at St Giles in the morning and at St Peter's after lunch failed, but 1296 Little Bob Royal was rung at All Saints just before lunch and the final attempt at Holy Sepulchre resulted in 1260 Grandsire Triples being rung.

May's fourth Wednesday practice

Normally the fourth Wednesday's practices are at St Peter's in Marefair. In May however the local theatre group who use the church for their public performances are performing in the church during the week commencing 22nd May so the Northampton Ringers Society practice on 24th May cannot take place there. Instead arrangements have been made for the Society to visit St Mary, Dallington, between 7pm and 9pm.

Holy Week 2017

As is customary there will be no Northampton Ringers Society practice during Holy Week. Members will meet, however, at the Balti King restaurant in Earl Street, Northampton on Wednesday 12th April to have a meal together. All are welcome, and anyone wishing to attend should contact Giles Willson on 07732 331468 or giles.willson@ntlworld.com.
